Hi,

I have Windows XP. I did some Windows Automatic Update recently, after which
I have lost my Windows Explorer Menu Bar.

Any help to fix this problem will be very much appreciated.

Regards and thanks in advance,
Dinesh Jain.

Hi Rock,

I even tried reinstalling Windows XP using my OEM disk. But it comes up with
message saying 'The copy of Windows currently on my computer is of newer
version than the one on the CD' and does not allow me to reinstall.

What can i do.

Thanks and regards,
DJ

:

Sounds like SP2 is on the computer and the installation CD is pre SP2.
So create an installation CD slipstreamed with SP2. See these links for
how to.
