Windows Explorer no longer appears in Start>All Programs>Accessories>

Nor can I find it anyplace. It doesn't respond to a search.

How do I get it back?

Click START|RUN and type "explorer" (no quotes) <enter>

If it comes up, it's there.

Explorer.exe must be there, or you would have no desktop. But you may
not see it because you have system files still hidden. Go to Control
Panel - Folder Options, - View and select to show hidden and system
files, then click Apply.

Now open C:\Windows (and say yes you do want to see the files in it),
and look for explorer.exe. With the right mouse button down, drag it
out to the desktop and take 'Create Shortcut'

NOw right click that and Rename (to just Explorer, or Windows Explorer
as you want to see in the menu)

Now drag it onto Start, wait for the Menu to open and drop it wherever
you like in All Programs. Or indeed just leave it on the desktop
