Windows Explorer gives me an error after it has been minimized for a while

After I access files from windows explorer, I minimize it
and go into other apps. When I attempt to go to different
files or folders on my networked drives I get this error
message "The filename, directory name, or volume label
syntax is incorrect." It then takes me back to the folder
I was in. It then locks me in a loop and I can't leave
that networked drive.

I have seen this before, delete the file name you are
trying to save it as and then try browsing to different
folders. its almost like the folder you are in doesnt like
the file name and will not let you change until you change
the file name..
