Hi, i have the following problem: When i start my computer and get into
windows, i am able to click on a file or to open a folder only for the fist 5
sec, after that windows explorer freezes..i cant click ANYTHING i cant do

I have already reinstalled WinXP SP2 because i thought that it might be
better if i replace some dll files.

Does anyone have an idea??

Look in the System and Application tabs of Event Viewer for Error
Reports shortly before the last time problem occurred. When was the
last date when there was no problem? Please mention any changes of
hardware or software made shortly before the problem first arose.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information
regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. This will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report
complete with links into the message. Make sure this is the first paste
after exiting from Event Viewer.

Hope this helps.
