I have setup a Win2k server and applied all new Windows
Updates patches. However, after rebooting I realized that
the folder hierarchy tree on the left hand pane of my
Windows Exporer has been greyed out. The only thing
available on the left hand pane is the Close (X) button.
I tried to click Folder button on the menu bar but to no
avail.

I tried to reapply SP4 but still the same result. Anyone
know how to solve this?

Take a look art article 265829 Add\Remove Programs Tool May Not Work After
Installing Internet Explorer (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=265829). This
can be caused by a damaged Internet Explorer. Reinstalling Internet Explorer
may resolve the problem. Make sure you disable your anti-virus software
during the reinstallation.
