Windows error

Please help - is there a list of what BCCODE: 24 is. I
have an XP Pro PC that hsa give the following error:
BCCode: 24 BCP1: 00190sfa BCP2: f898ac40 BCP3: f898ac40
BCP4: 00000000 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:1_0 Product:256_1

I there a document that helps with these codes.

Hi,

Some information I found leads me to believe that the error is related to
your display drivers. I would start with updating or reinstalling yours.

From what I can gather by a Google search, you either have a hardware problem or a device driver problem

The thread below has a comment about "Product: 256_1" being a memory bank and that the error was correct after reseating the memory stick

After the error occurs, check the "Event Viewer" to see if you get a more detailed error report

The first, primary 'stop' code see

(It suggests problems with the NTFS file system and to run CHKDSK)
