I'm still getting the error windows encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have xp media center edition 05, and IE7.
I have done recommendations that were given to me on 5/2/07 except for
deleting IE7. I even disabled the add-ons, Here are copies of my errors in
windows:

this one is the most common error,

Try going to:http://microsoft.com/technet Locate security bulitens,locate
the
updates for windows explorer...As for the other,youre getting v7.0 Probably
IE7,try reinstalling.Also,for more details,event viewer would help,click on
the
url for an event/warning,this opens kb help/support in xp,usually with a
fix....

In this case, you may have to uninstall IE7, get a fresh copy from MS,
and reinstall using the fresh copy...

ok, its sounds like I need to unistall IE7. I am going to do this and see
what happens. I am suppose to get udates automatically, with the reasoning
you would think microsoft would auto send me a fix? thx
