windows error msg.

On Startup. I get the error msg. that windows cannot find the file
C:\winnt\system32\pwr32ctr.exe
specified in the registry.
can someone tell me what is causing this error msg. and how to correct it?

I think this is because you have deleted this file. Are

yo u by any chance having problems opening things from
your desktop??? If so this is what you need to do. You
need to re-install your operating system either from your
recovery disks that werw with the computer when you
bought it or from the disk you installed the operating
system from. If you click on repair this should mend any
faulty components of XP.
