Will my Windows Encarta version 2000 run on my new
computer running Windows XP.

It's compatible, but it will not update since it is
an old version. Consider purchasing the new 2005
version.

Don't know, have you read what the the "System Requirements" states on the
packaging? If it says it can run on Win 2000, it's a decent bet it will on
XP. You could try and see if it will work.
