Windows DVD Burner won't record a Movie Maker File

I've made multiple movies using Windows Movie Maker and then burning it to a
DVD using Windows DVD Burner. Today was the first time it gave me an error
saying it couldn't create the DVD because the movie maker file wasn't
compatible. How in the world could this be? And what would have changed?
