For some reason when I installed windows it the drive was suppose to be the
c: drive but it came up as the d: drive. I have tried to fix this using disk
management but it wont let me change the boot drives letter. Is there another
was to change the drives letter so that I will be the c: drive???

Cannot be fixed except by doing a clean re-install by
deleting the previous version of Windows and wiping the
HD during installation setup. Next, re-partition the HD
and specify the location of Windows XP to be in Drive C.

I had a similar problem because I forgot to detach an internal Zip Dirve
before installation of Windows XP. The Zip became C: and the HD was F:

I asked here about it and the unanimous answer was "No" - you can't change
it.

I have a friend who swears that "Partition Magic" will do it, but I don't
feel like paying for a software program when I'll probably use it only once,
especially as he's probably wrong!
