Hi,

My son was installing some new game. Now I can't start
the computer anymore. After starting the computer, the
following messge appears: "out of range"
and "H91.1K" , "V84.9". The numbers keep changing. XP
does not start & no responce to keybord. I think the
videocard settings are wrong, but since xp doesn?t start,
I can?t check.

Help!!!!!

Start in VGA mode. During boot, when you first see Windows starting,
repeatedly tap the F8 key. It will take you to a selection screen. Choose
VGA mode. Then, when the boot is completed you can work with your video
settings.

Suggest you keep Son away from computer! (-:

Hi Dirk,

Hit F8 at bootup and see if you can access Safe mode or the last known good
configuration.
