windows defrag in XP Home

I recently decided it was time to defrag my hard drive,
but when I open defrag.exe I get the screen, but the drop
down menus are all blank. Nothing happens, can't defrag.
Any suggestions as to why, and how to fix?

Hi!

In WinXP, you should goto Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools >
Computer Management, then in the left pane, click Disk Defragmenter for the
GUI version of defrag. The usual defrag.exe is actually a command-line tool.
