Windows defender

I have just installed Windows defender, when I try to install updates I get
error 0x8024401b. I use a proxy server and am thinking that the error has
something to do with it

Fo issues with Windows Defender, see & use the following group
microsoft.private.security.spyware.general

Error 0x8024401B is HTTP Status 407 - proxy authentication required

This site refers to windows update errors but might help with WD update
problems also.
