Windows Defender Beta 2

I am running windows 2000 with SP4 and the rollup installed. I have Windows
Defender Beta 2 running on my XP PC without any problems but I cannot get
it going on the 2000 PC.
I installed the netframework 2 but still get error messages. I tried
starting it manually but get error 2147550931.
Is this another MS spend a ton of time and it will never work or is there
an actual fix for it to work on 2000. TIA

There is a Defender ng, its located on privatenews.microsoft.com server, or
Forums accessible via Defender site
Works fine on my two win2k sp4 sys
