Very similar to some testing I did before I uninstalled Defender on the few
Windows systems I had it on. It appears to me that MS has given up on any
real effort to provide anti-spyware software. It is pretty obvious by the
abandonment of MSAS which imo, had some real potential. :)

MWAS hasn't been abandoned, it's been enhanced with Defender B2.
