Windows\CSC folder

Hi Guys,

I enabled offline folders on my PC running XP SP2 but realised that the 2GB
approx of data that was in my home directory on the server was going to be
too much for my c drive, so I cancelled the synchronisation before it has
completed.

Now I have run out of disk space as the files already synchronised were not
removed when I cancelled the sync. I found the data was located in the
c:\windows\csc direcrtory.

Can I delete this directory without causing any problems? I have run disk
cleanup which said I would be able to get 2GB back from removing offline
files, but this did not remove or reduce the size of the csc directory.

Any ideas?

Do not directly delete or move any files from the systemroot\CSC folder.

There are two methods you can use to safely remove offline files from
the cache without affecting network files or folders. You can delete
selected files from the Offline Files folder, or you can delete all
files associated with a particular network share by using the "Delete
Files" feature from the Offline Files property page.
