Windows crash Can some one help?

I get an error message that says.

This application has failed to start because MSVRC80.dll was not found.
Reinstall the application may fix this problem.

This happens every time I start my computer. I don't know what program it is
talking about. also Windows seems to crash frequently and a blue screen comes
up ( with lots of information) and then the screen goes black

Can some one help?

Can some one help?

Go to Start, Run, type msconfig, and press Enter. Go to the Startup tab.
Have a look at what's starting up, and disable things that aren't essential,
one at a time, restarting each time. Keep track and soon you will identify
what it is that's causing the error message. Then, you can re-enable
everything else, and fix the one thing that's crashing.
