Windows Control Library

I've created some Windows Control Libraries. They work great.

I've implemented them inside both Windows forms and inside web pages.

But, I'd also like to insert them as objects into Word documents,
Powerpoint slides, etc.

With an ActiveX control written say with ATL, this is possible. But I
can't find a way to do it with the .Net based controls. Is it
possible? If not, will it be possible in the future? Is there any
place I can go that points me to a statement of Microsoft's intentions
in this area?

For me, this works only in the test container. Others complained about
this as well in the discussion group at the end of the article.

Any other ideas from anyone? What about support in future versions of
VS or Windows or Office?
