I have a win2k box that is caught in a loop rebooting. It gets through the
windows splash screen where it completes the blue progress across the bottom
and then it restarts.

I've tried starting in safe mode but the same thing happens.

Do I have a virus?

Help!

Thanks,
Peter

Do this
Start
Settings
Control Panel
System
Startup and ...
Uncheck Automatically reboot
get your BSOD and post it for further help

Unfortunately I can't get into windows. The system restarts before it gets
all the way in.

Any other ideas??

Thanks!

Safe Mode
Try F8

Just as the dotted bar is at the bottom of the screen

I am having the same exact problem Peter describes, and
pressing F8 to go into safe mode doesn't work either.

Any ideas?
