windows constantly reboots itself

windows 2000.

downloaded updates from microsoft website. now computer
wont reboot continually restarts itself at the "windows is
now starting" screen.

any solutions to this problem??

I have the same problem, and cannot install SP3 or SP4 on Windows 2000
Server (SP2), without the computer continually rebooting. Boots up fine in
safe mode, but what good is that?

The computer is up to date on all patches except for the service pack, and
has no viruses.

It's not blaster. Have you tried booting into safe mode?
