Hi to all,

the Compact Framework 2.0 SP1 have now full support for ce 4.2 devices.
I have a terminal adapter with CE 4.2 and when the SQL MOBILE 2005 have
planned to support this operating system ?

Microsoft team plan support of SQL MOBILE at same time to CF 2.0 SP1.

For now, nothing!

WHY ???

Thanx and sorry for my english.

Have you tried SQL Mobile with CF 2.0 sp1 on your CE 4.2 devices? As far as
I know that should work. If it doesn't work, what error message do you get?

I tried CF 2.0 SP1 and all work ok. If i create a form and compile this
with VS2005 and i copy on my device all work ok.

But when i try to install SQL MOBILE the mobile device send me an error
message: 'operating system not supported'.

Now, for my device CE 4.2, what version of SQL MOBILE (the cab file) i
need to install (or copy from by Visual Studio 8 directory) to use my
own software SQL MOBILE based ?

My device have an Intel PX processor.

Thank you!

I don't have a 4.2 device to test with, but the right cab file should be the
armv4 one. Is that the one that is giving you the error message?
