windows cd burning

I have just installed new XP-Pro. My Real Player and Roxio
V.6 will burn cds, but the windows (IMAPI CD burning
program)will not. Have gone to Control panel>Adm.
tools>services, and started the program, but still cannot
get it to work. Have used this program and previous
System, but this has got me stumped. It is a lot easier to
use when backing up data files. Can anyone point me into
the right direction to get this working on my new system?

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\ Policies\Explorer
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value,
called 'NoCDBurning' and edit the value according to
0 = Allow CDR
