windows cannot start

i am using windows xp. my computer comes with recovery disc. When i switch on
my com, it turns to blue screen. I tried to reformat the com, but couldnt.
Error code is (0x80EC28E0 0xC0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I was able to
access my hard disk when i switch it to slave on another computer. Can i know
what is the problem? Is there a solution to it?
 
You can search STOP number in MS Knowledge Base at support.microsoft.com. If
you ready to recover the computer you should boot off the Recovery CD and it
would take care about the rest including complete repartitioning (all the
data would be "lost").
