I hope that this is the correct newsgroup for this question (if it isn't,
please can you advise...)

I am getting the following error message: "windows cannot open MPIO Manager
2.exe.mdmp". I have posted the error text below. Please can you let me
know why this is occuring. I hope that you can help.

A quick Google for MPIO Manager 2 produces this:

You apparently have a music player that is crashing. Since it is not
part of Windows, you should contact MPIO for tech support of their
product.
