Why when I click on a link in Windows Live Mail do I get this message
"windows cannot find, please retype your address and make sure it is spelled
correctly"?? It is very very annoying and it started on Nov 2. I have
already checked IE7 and it has all of its defaults. I am using Vista Home
Premium. Thannks

Hi,

Which one of the following options did you configure already?

"Set this program as default"

or

"Set program access and computer defaults"

You may have to choose IE in both the places above.

Went and checked and set IE7 as default in both and now I get a new error
message when I try to click a link from Windows Live Mail. The new error
message is "Application not found"

Since my last post--I re- installed Maxthon 2.0 version and now when I click
a link in Windows Live Mail I get the "windows cannot find please retype
address and try again " error message and then the link opens. Without
Maxthon 2.0 installed I get the "application cannot be found" error message
and the link will not open.

The settings are correct as far as I can see. I'll try installing WLM this week and see if I can replicate the problem.

I have the same problem when I click on a link in windows mail, the error message comes first then the link opens. Im using firefox as a browser, what browser are you using. If they cant fix the problem Im going back to the mozilla mail program. Its much better, and it catches all my spam while microsoft mail doesnt.
