enable app setup in UAC

I am running Windows Vista home premium and cannot find secpol.msc
I am trying to get a program, ODIN, to run on my system.
ODIN tells me "Windows Vista users should enable UAC to allow for the
correct creation of the ActiveX components needed by the application, but
not run the application as 'Administrator'."

Windows help says to run secpol.msc but my system says it cannot find this
program.

Thank you for any help.

It's available in the control panel somewhere in Vista, but I forgot where.

That's OK - I have an old book that says "Control Panel" | "User Accounts
and Family Safety" | "User Accounts" | "Turn User Account Control On or
Off"

Running as "Administrator" is not the same as running an account with
administrator privileges. You have to explicitly log on as Administrator to
be *the* Administrator, and it's normally hidden (but easy to unhide).

Home Premium lacks secpol. I haven't tried to find out whether you can
download & install it. I have Home Premium too, but Windows 7. Still no
secpol :-(.

Thank you, I did find that and it worked just fine.
