windows can not read disc

i have a pioneer 9 dvd burner, when i burn a dvd and try to play it back on
my dvd rom , it dose not recogize the disc and i get a message that says
windows can not recogize and using a format not compatable. but if i put the
disc back in the burner it is recogize and will play.

Different brands? DVD burner vs. DVD ROM. If so, there is probably an
incompatibility. Will the DVD play in your TV's DVD? My bet is that it will.
 
the dvd will play on a tv dvd player but will not open on another computer
unless it has a pioneer play ,i have set the region to the uk 1 ?
