On my notebook, when I switch between workbooks using the taskbar buttons,
the system beeps. When I switch workbooks using ALT-TAB method, no beep. At
first I thought it might be a warning from Excel that the files weren't
saved or something but it still does it even if the files have not been
changed.
It does this with both 2003 and 2007. My desktop does not do this. Is this a
problem with Excel? It appears to be functioning properly except for
complaining when I switch workbooks using the taskbar. Does anybody
recognize this scenario? Ideas? Thanks in advance.
