i have aero installed and working on my system, however when i maximaze a
window i loose the cristal effect on the window and the window turns this
ugly black color. does anyone know why this happens and how to prevent this?
i would love to keep the aero effect when the window is maximized.

You can NOT change this.
I too would like this, but it cannot be changed.

Eddy, the idea of the semi transparent borders is such that you can see
what is behind the active window.. if an active window is maximized, even if
the top of the window was transparent it would serve no useful purpose other
than to obscure whatever info was on it as it would essentially merge with
correspondingly placed info underneath..
