I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit on a brand new HP Pavillion Elite
PC. I'm getting a window that says "Ad32lw has stopped working" when I try to
load Autocad 2008. All worked fine until I after I updated the BIOS, but not
sure if it is related or not. Since the message is from Windows and not an
Autocad error message, I assume it is a Windows problem. Hope I don't need
to reinstall Vista. Don't have the disks since it was factory installed.
Suggestions?

Make the disks. There should be a recovery partion on your hard drive. Check
the manuals that came with your computer for creating these "restore to
original condition" media. You might need them someday.
