windows activation

I seem to have deleted the folder with the files i received after windows
activation and every time i start my computer I am asked to activate windows.
When I click 'activate now', however, it says my windows is already
activated. Is there a way to solve this problem, for example to deactivate it
at all and activate it again?

You are prompted to activate Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 every time that you start the computer:

How cute, a registry fix. I think MS should send a tech over to the OP's
house or office to fix their ineffective and flawed software for free
and they should do it today and pay the OP for their wasted time while
waiting.

And then people wonder why users are opting for Ubuntu.

Pls see Method 1, which links to a "guided help" tool to automate things.

NO! It shouldn't be necessary. A tech from MS should go to the home or
office and straighten out the flawed crappy software which does nothing
to stop piracy and only, as this case proves, inconveniences the paying
customer.
