Windows Activation Question

My windows XP keeps saying that I need to activate
windows, and then whenever I click on the message so I
can activate it, it says "Windows already activated", yet
still it keeps showing me the message, and now I only
have 5 days left to activate it. Is there anything I can
do?

You have two things got at cross purposes. What I would do is run
regedit.exe and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT
\CurrentVersion\WPavents

There double click on OOBETimer in the right pane, and *carefully*
change the first byte 00

Then get on the net and you ought to be able to go through with
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate Windows
