windows 98 corel word perfect

How do I open a floppy disc, that was created in corel word, windows 98. now
have windows xp, unable to open the disc?
 
Assuming that you are trying to opewn the document in Word, given that this
is a Word group. Never ever read from, write to or print from floppy with
Word. This is the most certain method of ensuring document corruption. Copy
to the hard disc and work on the document from there. This is equally
relevant to other removable media such as CDRW.
