How can I convert a MS Word doc to a COREL Word Perfect doc?

I have Corel Word Perfect V.12 loaded on my lap top and am having difficulty
converting the document from MS word to Word Perfect. I did this just
recently and it worked but do not remember how!
 
Unless you have access to Word, you would be better asking in a Word Perfect
forum, but I believe that WP can open Word DOC format (though maybe not Word
2007 DOCX format) directly.
