How do you install programs designed for Windows 95 onto Windows XP Pro
machines? I knwo some do it automatically, but others have pop up's saying
that you need to install on Windows 95 machine. Is there a way around this?

I always try to install the programs the regular way first. If that
works, great. If it doesn't, use compatibility mode. Enter
"compatibility mode" in XP's Help & Support and it will walk you through.

Maybe.

1. First try to install and run normally.

2. If that doesn't work, try compatibility mode.

3. If that doesn't work, you are probably out of luck. Not all older
programs will run under Windows XP.
