I need to know if I can install IE6 on a computer that is running Windows 95 and have both the internet and the operating system work correctly.

Thanks for any help!

Hello

Well, WIn 95 is A good old guy, But I think you should
retire the program,

get acopy win98 2nd Edtion copy the contents of the win98
folder to a win98 folder on the C: drive do all this
before you change anything on the system,

Next reboot your system to a Dos prompt, rename the win.com
in the windows folder to wuz.old ,

now run setup from the c:\win98 folder and select to
install the upgrade in the same folder as the old win95 is
which is c:\windows.

continue this setup , and you have your selef win98 with
all your programs and data preserved.
