Is there a way to get windows xp to emulate windows 95?
I'm trying to run an old game that was made for 95 and
won't run on xp.

Right click on the shortcut for the older program you want to run click the
compatibility tab, check the box where it says run this program in
compatibility mode for and select which OS you want to be emulated. HTH

Try Start - All Programs - Accessories - Program Compatibility Wizard,
point it at the program and tell it to pretend to be Win95

It is not certain to work - some win95 programs were written in ways
that XP just will not permit to run, but is worth the try

If you right click on the executable file, select properties, then
select the compatibility tab. There should be an option for you to run
the program for compatibility with Windows 95, along with some other
older versions.

There are also programs out there to emulate different OS, such as
Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/virtualpc/).
