The topic of THIS newsgroup is to discuss Windows XP.

The topic of THIS newsgroup is to discuss Windows XP.

Don't use Windows 7?
The Subject line clearly indicates it was a Windows 7 question so why
did you reply?

Anyway, I didn't think this newsgroup was moderated, do you claim to be
a moderator?

Going from your headers: Time Zone of "Tue, 15 Jun 2010 02:19:00 -0500"
and sticking your nose in seems to indicate you might just be another
"Dick Head" from that part of the World.

Why would you ask a Windows 7 question in a Windows XP newsgroup?

Got any questions about your car you need answers to?

Sorry, I am using the news server: msnews.microsoft.com
I cannot find any newsgroups for Windows 7.

I don't own a car, in my part of the World public transport is
excellent.

So do you have any questions about the public transport schedule you
need answered?

It is a paid usenet group

Ah no, the usenet group is free, it's that particular news server that
costs. Just access the newsgroup from one of the "free servers".

What good free news server do you recommend?

For the purpose of accessing "alt.windows7.general"? I wouldn't bother,
99% of the postings are flames and user bashing. You'd spend more time
maintaining filters than reading posts.
