Windows 7 or vista..?

Hi to all
I am planning to buy new laptop.But confused little which system t
buy.So please share your experience so i can get some ideas.which on
is better..

Of the two, Windows 7 which is really Windows Vista SE.

Actually if you check the NT Kernel history all subsequent Windows are
children of the previous version. However, at Vista - the kernel code was
based more on the Server product line than Window XP.
While Seven is progression of Vista, the differences are significant. I'd
be
more inclined to called it "Vista - Done Right" than SE.

That's what they said when Microsoft was more honest with 98 SE.

Vista - NT6
Win 7 - NT6.1

W 7 for sure.

but stay away from the lower end versions.

check the version contents at the microsoft web site for W7 to see which version best suits your needs.

I'd say that Win 7 is more than an 0.1 rev improvement over Vista.
