Windows 2003 time sync ?

I could not find a newsgroup for windows 2003 server, so forgive me if I
have the wrong group. I have a windows 2003 server (member server) with 2
physical processors (4 altogether) and I did find a KB 827909 but that's for
64 Bit architecture. I have set up the server with the follow switches to
sync up time: net time /domain:mydomain.com /set

This corrects the time, but not permanently. The time fails to update
and I was wondering if I'm doing this wrong. Should I set up NTP
resource(s) and not use my domain controllers (Windows 2000) with in my
domain? Is there a patch for this specific problem? Information will be
high appreciated.

Dave,

So, are these articles you gave me strictly for Windows 2003 server
Domain controller? My 2003 server is just a member server within a 2000
domain environment. Do these concepts still apply given my situation?

I would think that it would default to the domain controller that holds the
PDC emulator role. Are there any Event Viewer errors regarding this? To add
to that this article may help. Should also apply to a 2003 server
