Windows 2003 Shadow Copy

Hi, Friend
In my environment, I have implement Volumn Shadow Copy for LAN connection.
And Right now , we plan to implement WAN Connection from one office to
another office accross the region. Does Windows 2003 Shadow Copy is able to
implement in WAN environment accross the region? What would be the affect of
implement shadow copy in WAN environment?

I hope if someone can help me to answer my question.
