Windows 2003 server

Does anyone know how to properly setup a file server in Windows 2003 Server?

I can share the folders and add the correct permissions for a specific
user but it asks for a username and password everytime I want to view
the files. I need to be able to access the folder without having to
give a username and password. Thanks.

Is this a domain?

If not, (i.e. you are in a workgroup configuration) then you will need to
setup matching accounts on both machines (same name and password... it's up
to you to keep them synchronized.)
