Windows 2003 replacment of 2000 Adv Server

I will try to make this post as short and concise as possible but I need Guru
help on this one.

I have a 2000 Adv Server we want to buy a whole new machine with 2003 Std
Server and throw it onto the network.

How do you in essence GHOST the old server so that the new one is exactly
the same and no client changes must be made. IE no changing domains or
names or client profiles?

Currently our server is a DC called thedomain.com
all clients login to this DC. How can we setup the new one to look like the
old one so no changes or very minimal changes must be made to the clients?

thankyou for your help in advanced.

Just build the new server as a new DC on your existing network. Done.

Or... is there something you're not telling us. Like.... what duties other
than simple authentication is your current server doing?
