I use 2003 Standard on my laptop (I have my reasons so please dont ask) for my primary workstation, but I seem to have problems with our network, I cannot access the main PDC, drive shares etc. It seems that 2003 doesnt like being in a non PDC enviroment. I am not using it as a server for our network in anyway its just a platform I use to work on for day to day work.

Can someone help me here, (other than saying "don't use it") I have used 2000 ADV server, Server in the past with no problems on the network, it just seems to be something new in 2003.

Thanks in advance

Hi Neall-

You say that you can't access the PDC yet you also say that you're not in a
"PDC environment"..

What error messages, if any, do you get? Have you scoured your event logs?
What network settings do you have configured?
