I have a virus i cant get rid of.........it has shut down
my internet access, although where i can type the ip
address in directly it will go to that site..if i try via
www.anything.com it diesnt work..........

Have you followed _exactly_ the removal instructions provided by
whatever antivirus application you used to detect this virus? Which
specific virus is it?
