windows 2000 vpn client connection problem

andrew

I have a problem with 2000 client trying to connect to
2000 server through vpn. The computer was configured and
successfully connected to the server. A couple days
later, I am no longer able to connect but I am able to
connect from a different location. I believe my vpn
client on this particular machine is corrupted. I get an
error message Error 678: There was no answer. But I could
connect from a different machine in a different location.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks
Andrew

Error 678 usually means you haven't even got to first base. Can you
reliably ping the VPN server?
