windows 2000 upgrade of BDC ?

upgrading a BDC to w2k server, froze up on second half of
install. can i just remove the bdc from the domain and
will it not effect my network. The PDC and most other
servers are already Windows 2000. any help appreicated..

I assume when you say that it froze on the second half of the install that
you mean GUI mode portion of setup right?
Since this is prior to it running dcpromo then you are probably safe just
removing the computer account.

If it completed the upgrade to Windows 2000 and failed during dcpromo then
you will most likely need to do a metadata cleanup per:
