I've forgotten and need to know the path and name of the executable to rdp
into another machine from a 2000 box.
I know on XP it's ...\windows\system32\mstsc.exe but can't remeber what it
is on a 2000 machine, and it's driving me nuts.
thanks

Thanks, but I'm still looking for the path and executable name. I understand
the info you gave me was for an "upgrade". I need to know what the original
path and executable is called.

This link was on the page I sent you:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tools/rdclientdl.mspx Is that
what you were looking for or am I just not understanding your question. If
you can't find it I'm assuming it's not installed.

The client is not installed on W2K by default, but..
If you're on a W2K Server that has TS installed, look in:
%systemroot%\system32\clients\tsclient

I'm not 100% positive this gets created in 'Remote Admin' mode or if it's
'Application' mode only.
