Windows 2000 Server error message

The following message comes up when starting up the 2000
Server "The procedure entry point OpenPrinterA could not
be located in the dynamic link library SPOOLSS.DLL."

The Server is running fine and has been for a long time,
but would like to know if anyone has any idea what is
causing this error message.

Cause

Root cause has been determined to be a wrong version of this print monitor
file

Solution
=======

The problem was caused by the out of date Spoolss.exe, Spoolss.dll and
possibly
SRV.SYS. There was an apparent mixup at the factory in which Gateway had
mixed SP3 and original NT files on their distribution server.



To resolve this problem, replace the file with the correct version on your
computer with the one from the Windows 2000 CD.
